Brandon was integral to my success with each securities licensing exam. I have worked with Brandon over the past 2 years to pass the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exam. This guy knows his stuff; ANY question you throw his way he can answer in a manner that makes the material come to life and stick in your memory. Brandon excels at distilling industry jargon into understandable and applicable language that allows you to learn and remember concepts which is key when studying for any of these exams. If it were not for Brandon I would likely still be spinning my wheels on one or many of these exams. The methods utilized by Brandon and Basic Wisdom allow you to accelerate the entire learning process and get you to a confidence level that helps you go into the exam knowing you will pass. My advice to anyone reading this who is on the fence about whether or not they "really need" Basic Wisdom's services: pull the trigger, I did and it was worth every cent. I whole heartedly believe that Basic Wisdom and Brandon Rith gave me the edge I needed to pass these exams within my timeline.

I am extremely pleased by the confidence I received while working with Brandon! After struggling to grasp various components of the SIE material, I stumbled onto Brandon's YouTube videos. I was impressed by his calm and patient approach to breaking down complex topics that I had struggled to understand even with expensive and robust prep materials. Even during our preliminary conversation he offered insight into how to perform well on the exam that boosted my practice test score well above passing. During our tutoring session he happily and energetically reviewed each question I had using concrete and easy to understand analogies and slides. I am positive I passed because I felt more confident with the material using his approach. He is extremely familiar and up to date with the testable material and knows where to divert energy. I have had the privilege of knowing Brandon for a Little over 5 years now. In that time he has helped me with my series 7, 63 and most recently the 66. Brandon is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to these tests. You can seriously throw out any question you have on any of these tests and he will be able to quickly answer it. And not just answer the question, but he’s able to give you real life examples so the dry material makes sense. These are hard tests for me, but Brandon always makes them so much easier. I would have never passed these tests without Brandon’s help. I would strongly encourage anyone thinking they might want a little extra help on these tests to reach out to Brandon! Brandon was great to work with when preparing for the Series 65. He helped instill the confidence in me to walk into the testing center feeling fully ready to go. The way he breaks down questions was extremely helpful and MUCH more in depth than the way most practice questions explain answers. Also, he uses real world examples that give much more context to the content that I felt myself continually reflecting on during the test. He knows the information extremely well and I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for some extra help while preparing for the test.

Brandon is an EXCELLENT tutor. I'm using him right now for the Series 66 and you can tell he's super experienced. He's got his own resources that he shares with you. He's also a great LISTENER (not just a speaker) so he knows what areas you truly need help on/ can adapt to the game plan on the spot. I have used a few tutors and this is an area which really makes him stand apart from the competition.

I landed an amazing opportunity at a major firm but it had one caveat; I had to pass my SIE, 7 and 24 in 120 days to keep it. I reached out to Brandon and helped me start tackling this task exam by exam. No matter how frustrated I would get with some of the topics, Brandon was always patient with me and helping me slowly work through it. The Series 66 is full of tricky and hard to understand scenarios, in a 3 hour session I had a breakthrough and an understanding of the material I need to learn. With Brandon’s help I passed my Series 66 on my first try - and I HATE tests!

He helped me fine-tune all of my weak areas before I sat for the exam. After a crash course on dozens of topics that I couldn’t understand on my own, we took a final exam together. Brandon taught me a lot just in the one hour session about bonds and yields. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a clearer understanding on how bond yields work as well as went over examples that I’ll likely see on the exam. I highly recommend him as a tutor, especially if you’re unsure on certain subject matters and need clear explanations.

Brandon is a resourceful and easy-going teacher, he lets you work through a thought process, and he gives equally simple and thorough explanations for difficult concepts. His method seems “anti-lecture,” which gives learners like myself the chance to retain more, and not just cram rote memorization. I like to think it isn’t a coincidence that I improved my final exam score by 10% yesterday.

I failed the Series 6 once and had many doubts about ever passing the exam. After working with him today for the first time, I feel a sense of relief. Brandon helped me with bonds, including par value, discounts, premiums, nominal yield, current yield, yield to maturity, yield to call, basis, bond volatility, and more. He gets back to you within an hour or two if you have any questions. He sends screenshots of any notes he helped you with (on his virtual whiteboard). I will be using him for the rest of my studying for these exams.

Chris broke down the topics in a simplified way and made sure to address all of my questions before the session ended. After just two sessions I felt so much more confident going into my exam. Chris is very knowledgeable. He teaches in a way that builds the student’s confidence. He asks questions to make sure you understand the concept. Even if you get the answer correct he will have you explain why the others answers are not true. He shows visual responses to help make things clear. He explained amortization and accretion in our Bond discussion that made premium and discounted bonds more easier to understand.
Very patient and overall pleasant personality that we were able to go over parts of the SIE exam. He explained certain acronyms to help remember them for the exam. He knows how important is for me to pass this Exam.

In April 2021, I had a little less than 60 days to pass the Series 65 exam. Once I began studying, there were several topics that were difficult to understand and the descriptions provided by the study material weren’t sufficient. I met with a tutor who massively boasted about his successful student following and then he never followed up with me! I had no time to waste so I started searching YouTube for help and discovered Brandon’s Basic Wisdom videos. He had a way of presenting the complicated information in a simple to understand application process using real world examples. I immediately scheduled several appointments per week with him via his easy online scheduling portal. Every session was extremely valuable and have me confidence. He consistently provided me with a personal recording of each session that I always watched again for reinforcement. He also sent the custom screenshots of explanations to questions I needed help with. This investment of a tutor was critical for my personal success with this monumental undertaking of subject topics. I took the Series 65 exam and passed on the first try. If I was asked how I passed so quickly, I would simply say to hire Brandon as a tutor and take his “suggestions” as “non-negotiable necessities” to pass.
